ValueFinder

Current market pricing for your vehicles

ManheimFowles’ ValueFinder system provides vehicle fleet owners and managers with a powerful analytical tool. It gives you an insight into the current market conditions for your vehicles.

You can view the current market value of all used passenger and light commercial vehicles sold at ManheimFowles in Australia, supplemented by industry price guide information.

ValueFinder lets you select model variants by build year, make, model, engine, transmission and body style. It presents sales of these vehicles graphically, showing the relationship between odometer readings and price achieved. Every vehicle sold is represented as a dot on the graph. You can also see how location and sale age affect market value.

ValueFinder allows you to answer questions such as:

  • What is the approximate value of a particular vehicle?
  • How do the sales results for a particular vehicle type and model compare to an alternative make and model? You can overlay up to 4 different makes and models.
  • How have the sales results for a particular vehicle type and model developed over the last 3, 6 or 12 months?
  • How is the used car market tracking at a particular time?

ValueFinder Benefits:

  • Updated on a daily basis giving you the most up-to-date market intelligence and the ability to monitor market trends as they occur.
  • Colour code or filter by location to observe local market variations.
  • Drill down on each vehicle to see colours and options that may contribute to price variations.
  • Export information to Excel for your own further analysis.
  • Graphs can include ‘retail’, ‘trade’ and ‘trade low’ prices as supplied by independent industry source Glass’s Guide, particularly useful on low volume vehicles.
  • When used with VIMS, each vehicle on a Pre-Sale Report has a link directly to its appropriate ValueFinder chart, making it easy to factor in market conditions when setting reserve prices.
