How do I login?

Once you have successfully reached the ManheimFowles website, located at the top right of the website you will see two blank fields with a login button. Fill in the appropriate details and click “Login”. Typically your username will be your email address.

How do I register to become a member?

The registration process is quick and simple. Simply navigate to www.manheimfowles.com.au and click the “NOT A MEMBER? CLICK HERE TO REGISTER” button located at the top of the screen

What is the difference between a standard member and full member?

A standard member is able to search but not buy, so has no online bidding controls. A full member can use many features including online buying.

How do I access the member’s area?

Simply navigate to www.manheimfowles.com.au and enter your login details at the top of the screen in the login area.

Do I need to login to purchase vehicles online?

Yes. You can register to become a ManheimFowles member from the home page.

What do I need to do in order to buy cars online?

You will be required to register as a full member and may be required to pay a bidding bond. Please refer to the website for more information.

Where do I download java?

Java can be downloaded from your Member's Home page under the “Your Tools” section. Alternatively, you can download Java from “http://www.java.com”

What is java?

Java is an advanced multiplatform computer language that helps run our Simulcast auctions.

What is Simulcast?

Simulcast is an electronic selling stream that extends the physical auction experience onto the Internet. Using Video/Audio Streaming you can see and hear all the live action.

What is Bid & Buy Now?

Bid & Buy now gives you the ability to utilize three specific selling streams. Firstly, purchase immediately in buy now mode. Secondly, you can bid and take part in an internet style auction. Finally a combination of the two so you can bid on a vehicle or purchase the vehicle instantly.

What is “Your Maximum Bid”?

Your Maximum Bids are secure electronic bids that represent people if they are unable to participate in an auction. You simply place your maximum bid in a Simulcast auction catalogue and your bid will be taking incrementally as if you were actually placing your bids. At no time does the auctioneer ever become aware of the user's maximum bid.

What is My Watchlist?

ManheimFowles Simulcast auctions give you the ability to flag vehicles in Simulcast auctions. Upon adding a vehicle to your Watchlist you will be notified visually, and by audio to let you know the flagged vehicle will be offered shortly.

I am having trouble logging in. Who can help me?

Firstly, ensure you are typing your login details correctly. Both the username and password fields are case sensitive. If you still seem to have trouble logging in, contact the ManheimFowles support team on 1800 001 278, or email us on support@manheimfowles.com.au.

What is Quick Search?

Quick Search is a fast search tool that enables you to search by keyword

What is Power Search?

A very powerful search using your specific criteria. Including but not limited to the following:

  • Make
  • Model
  • Year

What are Saved Searches?

Saved Searches are queries such as vehicle make & color that can be saved and queried at any time.

What are the requirements for Simulcast?

  • Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista Operating system
  • Sun Microsystems Java SE 5 or Later
  • Internet Explorer version 5.5 or Later
  • 64 Mb of RAM
  • Pentium II processor

What do I do if I forget my password?

If you need to retrieve a forgotten password simply click the “forgot password” link in the login area of our home page. Alternatively you can call us on 1800 001 278, or email us on support@manheimfowles.com.au.

How do I pay for a vehicle?

The balance of money owed on the vehicle after your deposit should be paid by 4pm the next business day after the sale. A Buyers Administration Fee is also applicable to each vehicle sold in public auctions. Payment can be made in the form of cash, bank cheque, credit card (processing fee applies), BPay (overnight transaction) or Direct Deposit (can be an overnight transaction). Purchase of 2 or more vehicles requires payment for all vehicles in full before any can exit the site.

How am I invoiced for purchased vehicles?

Invoices are generated automatically on the conclusion of a sale and will be emailed instantly.

Does it cost money to register as a full member for ManheimFowles?

No. You will not be charged to become a member. However; you may be required to pay a bidding bond which will be returned at your request. For further information please refer to the registration form.

What is an auction calendar?

The auction calendar is a powerful tool that shows all ManheimFowles auctions across Australia. The calendar is Printer Friendly and can be customized with a large array of options.

What are the “How this works” buttons located around the site?

These buttons define certain areas and tools with a brief explanation. Simply click to activate this feature.

What & where is the “your tools” area?

Your tools area is located in the left sidebar in the member’s area. Information and tools displayed here will vary depending on your needs and access.

How do I change my login details?

Located in the members area click “Update Profile”
