How to Search
To find the vehicle you're looking for amongst our
cars,
utes,
4x4s,
vans and wagons or
Government cars and commercials you can:
- Quick Search - type in a word such as “Camry” in the white box on the left hand side of your screen and click Find
- Power Search - select vehicles by make, model, kms or many other criteria
- Browse our Auction Catalogues.
You can buy 3 ways:
|
Choose from thousands of cars at ManheimFowles around Australia.
|
- Register to bid and receive your own Buyer Number Card.
Registering to bid is free. Before you can bid at any auction you must complete
a Buyer Registration Card. By filling
in this card you agree to the Terms & Conditions of Auction Sale written on the card.
Take your signed completed card to reception together with a current
driver’s licence or passport for identification to receive your ‘Buyer Number Card’.
- Bid for the vehicle of your choice and pay your deposit.
To bid on a vehicle you must get the attention of the Auctioneer. You can do this by holding
up your hand or waving your Buyer Number Card. Bidding usually increases in $500, $250 or $100
amounts, however the Auctioneer can nominate a higher or lower amount at the Auctioneer’s
discretion. You cannot withdraw a bid once you have made it. If your bid is successful you
will be requested to hold up your Buyer Number Card and pay a deposit at the fall of the hammer.
- Pay the balance owed and collect your vehicle from the gatehouse.
The balance of money owed on the vehicle (after your deposit) must be paid
by 4:00pm the next business day. A Buyer’s Administration Fee is also applicable
to each vehicle sold in public auctions. See the Auction Catalogue for the fee
applicable to each auction. All vehicles must be paid for in full before you can
collect any vehicle.
2.) Via our ‘Simulcast’ internet auctions
‘Simulcast’ internet auctions allow you to participate in an auction from your home or office.
The service lets you see and hear all the action from the auction lane and then, with the
click of a mouse, bid and buy in real-time. Simulcast is only available to the public in
NSW and Victorian Government auctions. So if you can't leave the office or simply want to save
travel time, Simulcast allows you to "be there, even when you're not!"
3.) Pre-auction sales in Sydney and
Perth
Pre-auction sales are a no-negotiation, no-pressure, no-haggling method of purchasing a
government vehicle, perfectly suited for those customers unable to attend the auction.
Selected NSW and WA Government cars are available for sale.
For more information see the Government Auctions website.
